Skinsational Skin and Body Spa Celebrates 2nd Anniversary and Launches Medi-Spa on October 3
~ Guests will enjoy a celebration and an introduction to Skinsational’s new medi-spa services ~
Carlsbad, CA, September 28, 2007 – In celebration of the 2nd Anniversary, Skinsational Skin and Body Spa today announced new Medi-Spa offerings. Join Skinsational on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 5pm to 8pm for complimentary hor d’ouevres and refreshments. Guests will receive a Skinsational goodie bag and can enter to win one of many raffle giveaways. All guests must RSVP to attend by calling (760) 434-8118.
Skinsational will expand its menu of services with the addition of Cynthia Moore, RN. Available for consultations and services every other Thursday, Cynthia will provide such treatments as photofacials, botox injections, juvederm, restylane, laser hair or vein removal, and more. Skinsational estheticians will also offer additional results-oriented non-invasive treatments like the O2 Topical Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy giving clients even more dramatic results than ever.

With over 34 years of experience, Cynthia Moore brings to Skinsational more than her expertise – she brings her passion. Cynthia’s professional path began in the Philippines where she was born and raised. She graduated with the best of her class from the intensive nursing program at The Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. At age 23, she was recruited by a hospital in Texas where she was the head of a department. One year later she moved to California and since has devoted herself to furthering her professional development by remaining at the forefront of technology.
In 2001, she returned to school and enrolled at Eclectic Skin Institute (now called Esthetic Skin Institute) where she earned her certification for various aesthetic procedures. By 2002, she was learning about laser technology under the guidance of Thomas Simerson and incorporating it into her career. She continues to stay current on her knowledge by attending conferences worldwide. In May 2005, she attended the World Congress in Italy and in March 2007, she attended World Congress in Brazil. Cynthia is a member of The Association of Medical Esthetic Nurses and The Association of Aesthetic Nurses. A visionary, Cynthia continues to incorporate new technology and treatments into her plethora of services ensuring that her clients leave happy and fulfilled each visit.
The addition of Medi-Spa treatments is one of the many new offerings at Skinsational Skin and Body Spa. Launching during the month of September is a new lifestyle workshop series offered by Dr. Eric Dinenberg, M.D. These workshops are designed to enhance your life – from the inside out – through mindfulness and nourishment. Additionally, Skinsational has announced a partnership with Scott Miller, MD, FACS, an acclaimed plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
