Skinsational Skin and Body Spa Hires New Spa Director
~Karen McBride Continues to Pursue Her Passion at Skinsational Spa~
San Diego, Calif., November 26, 2007 – Joyce Carboni, CEO and founder of Skinsational Skin and Body Spa, recently appointed Karen McBride as Spa Director. McBride will provide continuous support around the sanctuary as well as inspire, train and develop employees, assist with marketing and sales capabilities and ensure client satisfaction.

McBride owned and operated “Nail Pazzazz,” a nail salon, for three years in Arizona before taking a seat in the office world. She worked at General Instruments and Upper Deck Company, LLC for a combined total of approximately 10 years before deciding to continue pursuing her life long dream of working in the spa industry. She was drawn to this industry because she believes in the importance of complete health and wellness and knows such a feat is unobtainable without proper skin and body care. McBride began developing her spa prowess as Assistant Spa Director at SK Sanctuary, LLC before accepting the Spa Director position at Skinsational Spa.

Spa Day is a unique, one-day pamper yourself fundraising event benefiting individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS. Skinsational Spa will be donating 20% of all proceeds on November 8th to Aid for AIDS.
According to the Center for Disease Control, more than one million people in the United States are living with HIV/AIDS. Since the discovery of HIV/AIDS in 1981 it has spread all over the world, to every part of the United States and into all sectors of society.
